Description

One of the newer northern cultivars, and another one carrying ‘Major’. Reported scab-free in northern trials and paired in those trials against ‘Kanza’, which shares the same parent.

The record here is thinner than for the USDA releases, and the reason is worth stating: northern pecan work has been carried substantially by regional specialists and growers publishing in trade press and field notes rather than in release bulletins. That is real evidence, and it is not the same as a release publication. Origin details and parentage beyond ‘Major’ are left as the sources give them.

Where to find it

No source recorded. That does not mean the cultivar is unavailable, only that this record does not yet name a nursery carrying it. Point us at one and it goes in.
