Description
Less a fruit cultivar than the thing most French orchards are standing on. Marsol CA07 is the predominant rootstock in modern plantings because it grafts compatibly with most C. sativa cultivars and, notably, with ‘Bouche de Bétizac’. Orchards established on it more than thirty years ago are reported still productive with no sign of incompatibility.
Worth recording in a cultivar database precisely because it is easy to overlook: the rootstock decision outlives the scion decision.
